I ran baseline labs before touching anything and I re-test every 12 weeks. It’s the only way to know your experiment is working — and the only way to catch a problem while it’s still small. No doctor’s referral needed for either of these.

Is any of this FDA-approved?
No. These peptides are sold for research purposes and are not FDA-approved for human use. That’s not fine print — it’s the honest starting condition of this entire field. It’s why vetting, testing, and bloodwork matter so much.
Will this hurt? Are injections hard?
A 31-gauge insulin needle into belly fat is a small pinch — genuinely less than plucking an eyebrow. The first one takes courage; the tenth is routine. GHK-Cu stings slightly. Everything else I run is barely noticeable.
What side effects have you actually had?
Injection-site redness, a few days of vivid dreams starting ipamorelin, and one week of fatigue I traced to overdoing TB-500. I log everything — the full honest list, including what I got wrong, is in the side-effects write-up linked below.
How fast will I notice anything?
Sleep changes came first for me (about 2 weeks). Skin took 6–8 weeks. Tendon and recovery effects were the slowest — real judgment takes a 12-week cycle. Anyone promising overnight results is selling something.

KLOW is my “everything-in-one” healing + beauty shot.
KPV handles inflammation, BPC‑157 drives local repair, TB‑500 pushes systemic repair, and GHK‑Cu layers in skin, collagen, and copper signaling. One reconstitution, four mechanisms stacked. I reach for it when I want all four lanes covered without juggling vials, especially during heavy recovery phases where I want the extra GHK‑Cu support on top of the classic Wolverine pairing.
Personal story: my labs show mid ferritin with low-ish iron and saturation — my body is storing but not moving it. That sits in the “iron handling / copper / signaling” cluster, which is why the GHK‑Cu + copper axis lit up for me.
When copper signaling is off, you can end up with “iron deficiency that doesn’t respond to iron,” because copper is required to move iron into red blood cells. GHK‑Cu is one of the ways your body moves copper and flips repair genes. So this is not “take GHK and your iron is fixed overnight,” it’s “GHK‑Cu is a repair/copper shuttle that might be one missing piece when iron is stuck despite decent ferritin and good protocols.”
For my body, I model GHK‑Cu as a systemic regeneration signal plus a copper-handling nudge that might let my iron protocol actually land. I’m keeping my existing iron stack in place, adding proper copper/ceruloplasmin work, and treating KLOW as a repair tool — not an iron supplement — while keeping an eye on zinc/copper balance.
WHAT IT SEEMS TO DO:
GHK‑Cu (Copper Peptide) — The Master Remodeler
Acts like a “time to regenerate” flare. It activates MMPs to break down old, stiff collagen and elastin, then flips on collagen-producing genes to lay down fresher, bouncier architecture. Systemically, it also stimulates tyrosinase, which is why baseline skin tone can shift toward that healthy, “alive” color.
BPC‑157 (Body Protection Compound) — The Master Healer
Originally isolated from gastric juices, BPC‑157 is a workhorse for tissue repair, vascular health, and systemic inflammation. It triggers angiogenesis (new micro‑blood vessels), building fresh “highways” so oxygen, vitamins, and minerals can reach the tissues GHK‑Cu flagged for remodeling. It also stabilizes the gut‑brain axis and cools nervous system inflammation — side note: this lines up eerily well with my 15‑year insomnia suddenly vanishing. I don’t wake up 20 times a night anymore.
TB‑500 / TB‑4 (Thymosin Beta‑4) — The Cellular Architect
Thymosin Beta‑4 concentrates where damage is happening; it’s the ideal partner to BPC‑157. It regulates actin, the protein that lets cells move and migrate. When GHK‑Cu signals that tissue needs rebuilding, TB‑4 helps direct new, healthy cells exactly where they’re needed. Recovery speeds up, muscles and joints feel more fluid, and skin has a better shot at healing without scar tissue or that thick, ropey feel you get when repair is sloppy.

- Wilson’s disease or copper overload. GHK-Cu delivers 50 mg copper-bound peptide per vial; contraindicated in anyone with copper-handling disorders.
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding. No safety data for any of the four peptides during pregnancy.
- WADA-tested athletes. TB-4 is on the prohibited list; KLOW is not usable in-competition.
- Baseline photos if skincare is the goal. Progress on skin is gradual; week-0 photos are the only reliable progress marker at week 6.
- You’re expecting a “lose 10 lbs in 10 days” or “perfect skin in 2 weeks” miracle — this is structural, not cosmetic whiplash
- You refuse to run or share basic labs and just want to inject stuff blindly because someone on Instagram looked hot
None of this is medical advice; it’s literally my N=1 war‑body log so you can pressure‑test it with your own brain and your own provider.
QUICK HACKS: HYDRATION THAT ACTUALLY HITS TISSUE:
While you’re running this blend, I strongly recommend a tailored hydration drink. Mineral‑rich sea salt supports electrolytes and sodium levels that skin cells literally need to stay plump and functional, so you’re not trying to remodel on a dried‑out sponge.

The pros (the energy matrix): This formula is a great cellular energy booster. It uses malic acid and alpha‑ketoglutarate (AKG), which are Krebs cycle intermediates that directly support ATP production, plus L‑Tyrosine, which can support thyroid and dopamine.
The cons (low mineral dosing): Because it’s built as a pre‑workout / stamina drink, the actual mineral content is low. One scoop gives ~60 mg Sodium and 50 mg Potassium. For comparison, a therapeutic hydration packet usually lands closer to 1,000 mg Sodium and 200 mg Potassium when the goal is to aggressively push water into tissues.
The hack: Add a pinch of high‑quality salt. Drop 1/2–1 scoop of Pure Encapsulations powder into 8–10 oz of water, then add ~1/4 tsp of sea salt or Redmond Real Salt. That alone adds roughly 500+ mg of sodium, instantly turning a light energy drink into a serious tissue‑hydration tool.

Zinc is one of the main things people use alongside copper/iron work because:

- 30 mg is a standard, sane dose for short/medium‑term support while things are actively rebuilding.
I use Zinc 30 as a supportive short‑term tool while I’m in active KLOW / rebuild phases, and I balance it with copper support so I’m not just slamming zinc forever.
WHAT EVIDENCE EXISTS:
GHK-Cu — Split-face human dermatology trials on wrinkle depth and skin density (n usually under 50 per arm); microarray gene mapping (4,000+ genes); decades of cosmetic and wound-healing literature. No multi-center RCT.
BPC-157 — 100+ preclinical repair studies; human evidence is thin but real — PL-14736 (its clinical-development name) reached abstract-level Phase 1/2 in ulcerative colitis, a modern hamstring tendon Phase 2 RCT is recruiting, and an intra-articular knee case series exists. Clean early-phase safety; no completed modern RCT.
TB-4 — Substantial human trial data for full-length TB-4 (corneal-healing Phase 2/3 as RGN-259, plus cardiac and wound-repair programs), with clean Phase 1 safety⁹; cosmetic dosing extrapolated from these. Full-length trial data does not transfer to the TB-500 fragment, so verify vial identity.
KPV — Mechanistic NF-κB data; small clinical trials in IBD (oral) and atopic dermatitis (topical/oral). No published subcutaneous human data for systemic effects.
No controlled trial has evaluated KLOW as a blend. Synergy is inferred from the individual mechanisms, not demonstrated in combination.

WHY IT’S IN MY LAB
Epitalon is very “Jacqui core”: pineal, sleep, telomeres, long‑arc war‑body maintenance. It’s a synthetic version of a peptide your own pineal makes, and it sits right at the intersection of “fix the clock,” “age slower,” and “recover better from everything else I’m doing.”
I’m interested in it less as a hypey “live forever” drug and more as a quiet central‑clock repair: normalize sleep timing, smooth out some cortisol evil, support DNA/immune aging markers over years instead of weeks.
If I’m going to spend money on anything ‘anti‑aging,’ I want it touching actual aging levers (telomeres, sleep architecture, immune drift) instead of just vibes.
WHAT IT SEEMS TO DO
From animal data and small human studies, Epitalon appears to:
- signal through the pineal gland to normalize melatonin and circadian rhythm
- activate telomerase in certain cells and slow telomere shortening
- gently nudge “old body” markers (lipids, bone, immune parameters) toward younger patterns
Most people either do small daily doses for longer runs or short, defined “reset” cycles a couple of times per year.
HOW I MODEL IT IN A BODY LIKE MINE
Epitalon is a long‑arc maintenance peptide, not a fireworks peptide. Best case over months/years, I’m expecting:
- more reliable sleep onset and wake timing
- a slightly less deranged cortisol curve
- better recovery from training and other war‑body work
- a quieter background aging signal at the DNA/immune level
It’s not meant to slam your hormones or wire you; it’s more like telling the master clock: “act your age, not your trauma and sleep debt.”
If you run this, judge it over seasons and bloodwork trends, not over ‘did I feel a buzz on day three.’
MECHANISM CLIFF NOTES
Epitalon is a four‑amino‑acid peptide that mimics a natural pineal peptide called epithalamin. In vitro and animal work suggests it:
- up‑regulates telomerase and slows telomere attrition
- shifts gene expression around oxidative stress and cell death
- normalizes melatonin rhythms via the pineal, which then cascades into HPA timing, immune tone, and metabolic signaling
The most dramatic life‑extension data comes from Russian labs and older Russian human cohorts. It’s intriguing, but not “settled science,” so I treat it as “clock repair + mild rejuvenation” instead of a guaranteed decade‑adder.
CAVEATS + NEIGHBORS
Dose, cycle length, existing meds/sleep stack, and your actual health status matter here. This is not medical advice; it’s a log of how I’m thinking about my own body.
People often mention Epitalon in the same breath as Russian peptides like Selank and Semax, but those are more acute HPA/anxiety/sleep‑adjacent, while Epitalon is long‑arc aging/circadian. DSIP also gets tossed into sleep conversations for onset/REM, but its data is way messier and less mapped than Selank/Semax.

Delivery: Intranasal spray (how the Russian data is built) or subcutaneous injection. If I ever run it, I’m biasing to intranasal first because that’s where the actual human trials live.
Typical dose: Intranasal: around 250–500 mcg once or twice a day.
Subq: around 1 mg a couple of times a week.
If you’re working with a provider, you let them pick the number. If you’re self-navigating, you start low, watch your actual life, and only step up if it’s doing something real.
Cycle shape: This isn’t a “hard cycle” peptide. People either:
– run it daily through an acute stress window (10–14 days, then off), or
– hold it as a 2–3x/week support thing when their nervous system is loud.
War Body Lab rule: don’t marry a calm peptide. Use it to get through a phase while you’re also changing inputs (sleep, caffeine, people who fry your HPA axis), then reassess.
WHY IT’S IN / NEAR MY LAB
I care about anything that can turn the nervous‑system volume down without turning me down. Selank is basically “tuftsin‑plus” – a synthetic cousin of a signal your body already makes – with decades of data in Russia as an anti‑anxiety Rx. For women who hit their late 30s / 40s and suddenly feel wired, jumpy, and internally overcaffeinated, this is one of the only levers that isn’t just “take a benzo or flatten yourself with an SSRI.” I haven’t run it yet, but if I build a calm stack, this is on the shortlist.
WHAT IT SEEMS TO DO
Big picture: lowers anxiety and “static” without sedation, with some upside on focus and cognitive performance. The Russian and Eastern European trials read like: benzo‑level relief in generalized anxiety and neurasthenia, but people stay awake, can think, and don’t get the same dependency profile. How to Reconstitute Your Peptides
Ok so you ordered your peptides, the little vial of powder showed up, and now you’re staring at it realizing the instructions did not. This is the exact thing that trips up almost everyone on their first vial, so if you feel lost, you’re not behind at all.
Once it clicks, it clicks for good, and you’ll never think twice about it again.
This guide walks you through both parts: the actual physical how-to of mixing it, and the little bit of math that tells you how much water to add and how much to draw.

The One Thing to Understand First
Here’s the part that confuses everyone, and it’s actually good news… there is no single “correct” ending concentration. You get to pick it.
The bacteriostatic water you add does NOT change how much peptide you have. If you have a 20mg vial, you have 20mg in there no matter how much water you add. The water only changes how concentrated each draw is, which changes how many “units” you pull on the syringe for your dose.
Here’s the way it finally clicks, so let me hand it to you the fun way. Think of your vial like a pitcher of margarita, and the tequila is your peptide. You’ve got a set amount of tequila in there (your 20mg), and pouring in more mixer never adds or removes a single drop of it… it just spreads the same tequila across more liquid, so each glass is weaker. Your dose is your shot of tequila. If the pitcher’s strong, a small glass gets you there. If you watered it down more, you pour a bigger glass for the same shot. The tequila never changed, only how much liquid it’s swimming in. And here’s the kicker… in real life nobody wants a watered-down margarita, but this is the one time watering it down actually helps you, because a super-strong pitcher makes your dose a thimble you can’t measure, while a little more water turns it into a normal glass you can pour accurately.
What You Need
- Your peptide vial (the lyophilized powder)
- For MIXING ONLY: 3mL Luer Lock Syringe (No Needle) and 18 Ga 1 inch Sterile Disposable Injection neeedle with Caps to reconstitute the peptides.
- Bacteriostatic water (NOT sterile or distilled.. the 0.9% benzyl alchohol preservative is the whole point, it’s what lets you pull from the vial for up to 28 days)
- For you ACTUAL DOSE: Insulin syringes, U-100 (that means 100 units per 1 mL… this matters for the math below)
- Alcohol prep pads (70% isopropyl)
- A sharps container and fridge space
💡Quick thing on reading your syringe: those little numbered lines on the barrel ARE the units, usually marked every 10 up to 100. So 100 is a full 1mL, 50 is the halfway line, 25 is a quarter. Any time I say “draw to the 50 mark”, I just mean fill it to the line marked 50.
How to Actually Reconstitute It
The physical process takes about a minute. Slow and gentle is the entire technique.
1.) Wipe the top of both the peptide vial and the bacteriostatic water vial with an alcohol pad. Let them air dry for a few seconds.
2.) Draw your chosen amount of bacteriostatic water into a syringe (how much, in the math section below).
3.) Push the needle straight through the rubber stopper (you never pry the stopper off, ever), then push the water SLOWLY down the inside wall of the glass. Do not blast it straight onto the powder.
4.) Set it down and let it sit. Most peptides dissolve on their own in seconds to a couple of minutes. If it needs help, swirl it gently in a little circle.
5.) Never shake it. Shaking can damage the peptide. Gentle swirl only, and if it’s not fully clear, give it another minute.
6.) Once it’s clear, it goes in the fridge. Store it in the back of a shelf, not the door, so the temperature stays steady.
That’s the whole thing. The fear is worse than the task, every time.
One more thing for when you draw your actual dose: after you pull it into the syringe, hold it needle-up and tap the side so any air bubbles float to the top, then push the plunger gently until they’re gone and you see a tiny bead at the tip. You want liquid in there, not air..
Worked Example 1: a dose measured in milligrams
Say you have a 20mg vial of Epitalon and your dose is 5mg.
If you add 2mL of bacteriostatic water:
- 20mg ÷ 2mL = 10mg per mL
- 5mg dose ÷ 10mg per mL = 0.5mL = the 50 mark on your syringe (literally halfway… easy to see, hard to mess up)
- 20mg ÷ 5mg = 4 doses in the vial
If you’d rather a smaller injection, add 1mL instead:
- 20mg ÷ 1mL = 20mg per mL.
- 5mg dose = 0.25mL = the 25 mark. Same dose, smaller poke
Both are correct. For a beginner I’d start with the 2mL version, because that halfway line is the easiest to read when you’re doing this half-awake in the morning.
Worked Example 2: a dose measured in micrograms
Say a different peptide comes in a 10mg vial and your protocol calls for a 250mcg dose. First convert: 10mg = 10,000mcg.
If you add 2mL of bacteriostatic water:
- 10,000mcg ÷ 2mL = 5,000mcg per mL (that’s the same as 5mg per mL)
- 250mcg ÷ 5,000mcg per mL = 0.05mL = the 5 mark on your syringe
- 10,000mcg ÷ 250mcg = 40 doses in the vial
Now watch what happens if you add only 1mL: the same 250mcg dose lands at 0.025mL, which is 2.5 units, a tiny sliver between two lines that’s genuinely hard to draw accurately. THAT is why, for small microgram doses, you add a little more water. It spreads the dose across more units on the syringe so you can actually see what you’re measuring.
What About Blends? (More Than One Peptide in a Vial)
Some vials come pre-blended, with two or more peptides freeze-dried together (a KLOW, a Tesamorelin and Ipamorelin combo, that kind of thing). Good news: you reconstitute a blend exactly the same way you’d do a single peptide. There’s just one extra thing to wrap your head around.
In a blend, you can’t dose the peptides separately. You add your water once, and from then on every draw pulls all of them out together, in the exact ratio they were blended at. That’s the trade you make for the one-needle convenience… easier to inject, but you can’t run more of one and less of another.
So a blend is dosed by the total volume you draw, your units, and that target comes from whoever formulated or recommended the blend, because the ratio is already baked in.
And here’s the one that gets people: a “units” number from someone’s notes is meaningless until you know how much water the vial was mixed with. Back to the margarita… 7.5 units out of a strong little pitcher is a completely different amount than 7.5 units out of a watered-down one.
So don’t go chasing “the right water amount”, you don’t need to. Pick the standard amount most protocols use (a good default is 2mL for most single-peptide vials, 2 to 3mL for a bigger blend), reconstitute to that, and let the borrowed units go. What you actually want is your dose in milligrams, not someone else’s unit count. Once you have the mg dose, the math on this page gives you your OWN units, and you never have to trust a number you can’t trace.
One more, on the stronger blends… some contain peptides that work on your hormones, like the growth hormone ones (tesamorelin, ipamorelin, and the like). The mixing is exactly the same, but these aren’t casual, so know what you’re running. They raise your growth hormone and IGF-1, which can nudge your blood sugar up, so keep an eye on it if you run high. And there are real hard no’s: don’t run growth hormone peptides if you’re pregnant or might be, if you have any history of cancer, or if you’ve ever had a pituitary problem, a serious head injury, or radiation to your head. The most common thing you’ll actually feel is fluid retention, puffy hands, tingly fingers like a carpal-tunnel feeling, achy joints, and that’s just your cue to dose down or take a few days off. If none of that is you, mix and dose it like everything else on this page.
My Pro Tip (The One That Saves You)
Once you pick your water amount, write the concentration and the date you mixed it right on the vial with a fine Sharpie. Then into the fridge it goes. Future-you at 6am will not remember the math, and you never want to be calculating milligrams while groggy. Mix it once, label it, done.
A reconstituted peptide is generally good for about 28 days in the fridge, which lines up with the bacteriostatic water’s preservative window. That comfortably covers most cycles.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Squirting the water directly onto the powder instead of down the side of the glass.
- Shaking the vial. Gentle swirl only.
- Using regular sterile or distilled water instead of bacteriostatic. The preservative is what keeps it usable.
- Reusing a syringe. Fresh one, every single injection..
- Storing the reconstituted vial in the fridge door, where the temperature swings every time you open it.
- Eyeballing a tiny draw. If your dose lands on an awkward half-unit, re-mix at a different water amount so it lands on a clean number.
One Note on Your Actual Dose
This guide is the mechanics… the how-to of mixing and drawing. The dose itself comes from the standard, published protocol for whatever peptide you’re running. Reconstitution math stays exactly the same no matter what dose you land on, so once you’ve got this down, you’ve got it for every peptide you’ll ever run.
The first vial feels intimidating. By the second one, it’s second nature. You’ve got this.

Peptide / Injection Side Effects
Bruising, Burning & Copper Uglies
Injecting peptides gets easy fast, but a few things show up that nobody warns you about. None of these mean you did it wrong. Here is what is normal, what actually helps, and the few things worth getting checked out.
Bruising
A bruise just means the needle nicked a tiny blood vessel under the skin on the way in. Your stomach has a lot of those little surface vessels, which is why it bruises more than your thigh. It is not a sign you did anything wrong, and they fade on their own in a few days.
Here is what I do to get fewer of them:
- Rotate your injection sites. Do not keep hitting the same square inch.
- Use a short, fine insulin needle and go slow and steady… easy to see, hard to mess up)
- If you take fish oil, aspirin, or anything that thins the blood, that is part of why you bruise easier. Worth knowing, not something to stop over on its own.
- A little pressure on the spot after (not rubbing) helps. Ice it if you are prone to it.
- If a spot is sore or hard, skip it next time and come back to it later.
The Burn & The Copper Uglies (GHK-Cu)
GHK-Cu, the copper peptide, is the one most likely to sting or burn going in and leave a little temporary redness at the site. That is the copper, not a problem.
The fix is dilution: reconstituting with more water (for example 3mL instead of 2mL) thins it out and takes most of the burn away. Inject slowly, and if one spot is angry, move to a fresh site.
Here are my other best tips:
- Ice before and after until it’s numb. That’s the biggest one. Inject in the fattiest area you can find — more fat means less sensation.
- Go SLOW, I mean 30+ seconds on the injection, then leave the needle in for 10 seconds before pulling out.
- Let the syringe reach room temperature before you inject (I don’t know why this works but it does).
- Rotate your sites. Same spot repeatedly is soreness on top of the spice.
- Numb first with a numbing cream or Anbesol / Oragel gel
Welts, Redness, & Itching At The Site
Some peptides can leave a small raised welt, a little redness, or an itch right where you injected. That is usually a histamine-type reaction, it is common, and it settles on its own. Rotating sites helps. If it keeps happening or spreads, get it looked at.
What Is Not Normal
Most of this is cosmetic and temporary. But if a spot is spreading red, warm, and painful, or oozing, that can be an infection. A bruise that keeps growing and really hurts is worth a look. And hives all over, swelling of the face or throat, or any trouble breathing is an allergic reaction and an emergency, not a tough-it-out situation.

How to Stack & Cycle Your Peptides 101
There are hundreds of peptides. They are not all created equal.
Just because “peptides” show up on a label does not mean they are in there at a concentration that will actually do anything.
A lot of products are using the word peptide the way restaurants use the word “artisanal.” It sounds expensive. It costs more. And half the time it means nothing.
Here’s what I want you to know about the ones that actually work.
Start One At A Time
When you are adding something new, add it by itself first. If you stack two or three brand-new peptides at once and something gives you an unwanted effect, you have no idea which one caused it. Add one, see how your body responds, then layer the next. This is the single most important rule for a beginner.
Use The Pre-Mixed Blends When It Makes Sense
Some peptides are sold pre-combined so you get one reconstitution and one injection instead of juggling vials. The healing blends (Wolverine and KLOW) are the most common. See [GLOW vs KLOW vs Wolverine: Which Stack?] for which does what.
Pulsing & Cycling
Some peptides are meant to be pulsed or cycled, meaning you run them for a window, then take a break, rather than taking them forever. Your exact timing depends on the peptide and on you. If you work with a provider, this is a great thing to map out together. If you are not working with one, start conservative and adjust as you learn how your body responds

How to Avoid Peptide Uglies
I’ve used peptides for over a decade. Here’s what’s worth your money and what’s worth your side-eye.
Every brand has a peptide serum now. Every dermatologist on Instagram has a peptide opinion. The market for cosmetic peptides is projected to hit $8.2 billion by 2032, growing at over 10% a year.
Which is why I went looking. I wanted to know what was actually happening versus what was just very well-packaged marketing with a clinical-sounding label slapped on it.
Okay, now I have your attention. Let’s go deeper…

Either way, here we are.
Peptides are short chains of amino acids. Amino acids are the building blocks of proteins. Proteins like collagen, elastin, and keratin are what give your skin its structure, its bounce, and its ability to not slowly migrate toward your chin by the end of a long Tuesday.
Your body produces peptides naturally.
They act as little messengers running around telling your cells what to do… make more collagen here, repair this over there, calm down the inflammation that’s been having a field day since perimenopause showed up uninvited and decided to redecorate. (She didn’t even ask. Rude.)
After 40, your body produces fewer of them. The signals get slower, the repair gets lazier, and the collagen production that used to happen on autopilot now needs a handwritten invitation, two follow-up texts, and a small bribe.
What peptide skincare does is flood your skin with extra messengers. More instructions. More repair signals. Like hiring a very tiny, very expensive assistant for your cells who actually answers emails.

I’ve been in the wellness game for years: genes first, then hormones, now peptides.
My biggest advice if you’re starting out: if you have 23andMe or any gene panel, download your raw data. Learn your key mutations and how you convert things (I’ll break my own gene map down soon, because it all fits together with this stack).
Ideally, you get your hormones in order before you touch peptides. I’ll go into what “optimization” actually looked like for me and how I got there, but I want that on the record up front.
Now onto peptides.
Right now I’m running KLOW, an 80 mg blend from Biolongevity Labs:
50 mg GHK‑Cu, 10 mg BPC‑157, 10 mg TB‑4, 10 mg KPV in one vial.
My cycle plan:
- Activation (weeks 1–4): daily
- Remodeling (weeks 5–8): 5x/week
- Maintenance (week 9+): 2–3x/week, then off for 6 weeks
Dose ramp:
- Week 1: 1 mg daily
- Week 2: 1.5 mg daily
- Week 3: 2 mg daily
If I’m going to crank up tissue turnover with GHK/KLOW, I have to feed the basics: blood volume, minerals, and real electrolytes so the cells can actually hold water. Otherwise you’re asking your body to remodel on fumes, and that’s where you get the “peptide uglies” — flat, dull skin, weird fatigue, etc.
Salt + electrolytes + a bit of sugar (honey) is textbook “let the pumps work.” Magnesium is a cofactor in a stupid number of enzymes on this whole D/K/collagen/recovery axis.
Hydration hack (intracellular hydration + mineral support)
- 1 cup of water mixed with:
- Pure encapsulations hydration 1/2 scoop
- 1/4 tsp high quality salt
- 1 tsp local honey
Electrolytes + salt + honey = can your cells actually hold onto the water you keep chugging.
My vitamin D-axis stack
- Pure Encapsulations K2/D3 (sublingual) + fat (half an avocado or whatever fat you like)
- Magnesium alongside it, because the enzymes that convert vitamin D into its active form need magnesium to work.
